Show News:
Kengu (Z Shining Star) was at Pietarsaari dog show for FCI group 1
under judge Jadranka Mijatovic. The judge liked her and said that she was a nice bitch, but she didn`t look like an aussie! So Kengu got yellow ribbon, which means "satisfactory". This judge also didn`t gave CC to any bitch, althought there were "excellent" qualifications. Odd... I`m not sure if that`s even leagal...
Well, Nasu and Pate did better in Espoo, in Australian Shepher Specialty. There were 105 aussies entered under judge Judy Harrington, from their home country, USA. First i got to show Wen (Gator Heaven`s Finnish Star). He got "good" from the junior class males. Then Pate ( Z Simply The Best) was in intermediate class males. He got his second "excellent" and was placed 4th in class. Pate wasn`t placed in winners dogs. I was VERY excited about this already, but Nasu was yet to come.
Nasu (Z Snowflake) got her very first "excellent" from the intermediate bitches. Then she WON the whole class!!! Boy, i was in seventh heaven! Nasu wasn`t placed in winners bitches. So this was a wonderful day with full of promise of the future with this S-litter. Thank you Heidi for great company and phtos which are coming soon to my pages...

Tricky's Zestforlife Storm Cloud second official obedience trial was 28th of march. It was
Pia's and Tricky's first time in open class. They got second prize,
156/200 points, and were placed third of 8 entries in that class. The
first prize were really close as Pia told me. Good result for the

Tricky's Zestforlife Storm Cloud first official obedience trial was in
Oulu. The judge was Piritta Pärssinen. Tricky got 176 points from a possible 200.
And was placed second in Novice class! Now Pia and Tricky are
qualified for the Open class obedience. Congratulations Pia and Tricky,
I'm very proud of you two!
Tricky was the youngest dog in this trail (26 dogs) and there is only four dog who got the first class prize in whole test. And Tricky is one of these. The judge said that we work together well and Tricky seems to love this action. In Finland we have four levels of obedience (ALO ="beginner", AVO = "Open", VOI = "winner", EVL = "special winner"). You have to get first class prize from ALO to go to next level (AVO) and so on to (AVO->VOI->EVL). And you have to get three first class prizes from the EVL before your dog is Obedience Champion and you can use TVA before your dogs' name.
